Sarawak Police: 50% Saman Cut-Off from Sept 24 to 25

Shoutout to Sarawakians and those who have piles of saman in their dashboard for disobeying road law in Sarawak especially, we have some good news for you!

In conjunction with the state-level judiciary tour, Sarawak police are offering up to 50% off saman this weekend - Jelajah Kehakiman Peringkat Negeri Sarawak 2022.

The event will take place at Kuching's Plaza Merdeka Mall, and tickets can be purchased at the Kuching district police headquarters (IPD). The promotion is valid from September 24 to 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Do bear in mind that except for traffic lights, emergency lanes, double line overtaking, dangerous overtaking, accidents, non-compound (NC), and court cases, all SAMAN are eligible for the half-price discount (M).

For those who did kena saman for exhaust modification including lorries also getting the 50% discount. The cops advise the public to check the eligibility of their saman at any police station ahead of time.

While the generous discount lasted from September 24 to 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m, it’s best for drivers in Kuching to start the ‘ceremony’ first by utilizing the 50% promotion offered.
