The New Toyota Veloz, 5,200 Units Ordered Ahead Of Its Launch

Confirmed by UMW Toyota Motor, bookings for the new Toyota Veloz have raked up 5,200 units so far ahead of its official launch in Malaysia.
Although the seven-seater MPV will only be launched in the near future, pre-orders for this model have been open since 24 June.
UMW Toyota Motor’s president, Ravindran K, remarked, "The launch of Veloz will be a very important moment for us. Therefore, we are confident that it will become a popular model among Malaysians because it is offered at a reasonable price in addition to having premium and sophisticated features."

In a nutshell, the Veloz comes with a new transmission and suspension setup, smoother acceleration, good fuel efficiency, and harbours a 1.5-litre engine.
Then, the seven-seater MPV features the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) driver assistance system, autonomous emergency braking, and electric parking brake.

Other than that, its interior has a 9-inch infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Qi wireless charger, and up to 498-litre of boot space.
That said, the official price of this model has not yet been announced, but it is estimated to start from MYR 95,000, on-the-road, without insurance, including SST.
