Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival 2022 gears up for epic season finale

The fifth season of the ever-popular and star-studded Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival is set to mark its 2022 season finale later this month. Besides the night racing action, the weekend will also feature an exclusive rooftop concert and party, plus loads of other exciting supporting events and activities.
The Season 5 finale weekend takes place from Sept 24 to Sept 25 at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) and, though open to the public, admission to the festival will be limited to just the first 2,000 fans and celebrity superfans who register their attendance online.

The event will see the entire rooftop of SIC’s main paddock transformed into a festival ground where it will host several exclusive activities for fans. These include a pitlane walkabout for fans to meet and mingle with their favourite celebrity racers, a meet and greet plus autograph-signing session, as well as the display and sale of exclusive Gazoo Racing and Toyota merchandise.
Apart from that, other family-oriented activities plus a lucky draw with attractive prizes, will be held too. The latter sees things such as an iPhone 13 Mini, two iPads and two Apple Watch Series 7 being up for grabs.
Two concerts will be held back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday. Headlining Saturday’s edition are TGR racing celebrities Wany Hasrita and Nabila Razali, as well as a local artist K-Clique leading a special 40-minute ‘Rappers & Racers’ concert. Sunday’s stage bill, on the other hand, will open with TGR racing celebrity Khai Bahar, followed by an exciting ‘Rockers & Racers’ concert led by local rock queen Ella and girl group Dolla.

As for the on-track racing action, attending spectators are also in for a treat as the celebrity-filled Promotional Class of the Vios Challenge will see its title decided between its two contenders – Zizan Razak and Shukri Yahya.
Three other categories of the Vios Challenge races will also be contested, those being the Rookie Class, the Sporting Class for upstart gentleman and amateur racers, as well as the professional Super Sporting Class. The titles in all categories will be decided during this finale weekend, promising close, nail-biting action as contenders in each class slug it out to claim the champion’s crown.

Keen to be amongst the lucky 2,000 invited spectators? then simply log on to this dedicated microsite to register now: Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival 2022 Season Finale Registration.
By the way, those who aren’t able to attend or secure an attendance slot, worry not as the Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival 2022 Season Finale will have both its on-track races and special stage performances streamed live online via the UMW Toyota Motor (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd website [www.toyota.com.my], as well as both the official Toyota Malaysia and Toyota Gazoo Racing Malaysia Facebook pages.
