Setel Partners with Bateriku.com to Offer Auto Assistance Services
Whilst auto manufacturers offer roadside auto assistance as standard for new vehicles, demands for said assistance still emerge – especially for older cars. Customers are often dissatisfied with services provided by carmakers, prompting e-services providers to come up with their own initiative.
Setel goes beyond refuelling with its brand-new Auto Assistance feature, now available via its mobile app. This new feature allows Setel users to call for emergency, on-demand auto assistance services in case of a vehicular emergency.
In partnership with Bateriku.com, some of Setel’s latest services are provided including battery replacement, jump-start, emergency refuelling and vehicle towing services. Bateriku.com, Malaysia’s leading connected roadside assistance app will support Setel in providing said services, with the brand’s speciality being power-related breakdown issues.
Customers can visit Setel app and navigate to the auto assistance page, where a list of assistance services will be presented. Select the needed service and customers will be asked to share their current location as well as providing additional information on their whereabouts. Help will be dispatched as soon as customers fill out their vehicle information and confirm their orders.
For battery change service, customers can pick their own batteries from various brands, with the old battery trade-in service provided – truly a sweet and thoughtful addition.
Additional auto assistance services provided by Setel are emergency tyre change and vehicle unlock services.
Aside from Auto Assistance and refuelling, the Petronas-owned e-wallet platform also provides membership reward programmes via its Mesra points collection. Collectible points via any transactions made from the app can be used to redeem rewards such as free fuel and many more.
For more information on the Auto Assistance services provided, download the Setel app from your preferred mobile platforms.
