Touch 'n Go eWallet Down On 15 October For Maintenance

Touch ‘n Go (TnG) is blasting out a service interruption message via email, app and website for its upcoming eWallet system maintenance. This interruption is set to happen on 15th October 2022 between the hours of 2am till 6am. According to TnG, this update is for system enhancement works for a better user cashless experience.   

During this interruption period, all TnG services within the eWallet eco-system would be temporarily unavailable which includes ket functions such as reload, payment and merchant dashboard. However, on the upside, the hours chosen for this system maintenance is off peak where road traffic and app usage is at the minimum hence not affecting the bulk of TnG users. 

However, should you have enabled PayDirect and would be travelling during this period, you are advised to ensure you have sufficient balance in your wallet to avoid any issues with regards to parking and toll. Its best if you also reload your physical TnG card as a backup should the app maintenance doesn't go as planned. 

Although RFID was not mentioned in the message blast, logically if the RFID lanes remain open you should be fine using it as long as your wallet has sufficient credit balance.
