Bentley X The Surgeon Adidas Sneakers Range Are Too Cool For School!

British luxury automaker Bentley prides itself on its renowned and extensive bespoke options it offers customers through its cars. The use of premium materials, techniques, and finishes on various parts of the car truly allows the marque to offer said customers a plethora of ways to commission their very own and unique Bentley indeed.

Now though, Bentley will apply the same through a series of specially made Adidas sneakers made in collaboration with famed shoe designer Dominic Ciambrone – better known as ‘The Surgeon’. This collaboration, which began earlier this year, brought forth this recently unveiled line of sneakers that incorporates the automaker's design elements and traits into the footwear.

To create these kicks, designer Ciambrone had visited Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, England, and explored the range of materials, finishes, and bespoke elements the famed Flying-B marque used throughout the creation of its cars. In return, Ciambrone also pipped Bentley’s Mulliner division to add their additional creative details and bespoke elements to his designs.

With that, these range of handcrafted Adidas Forum Low sneakers by The Surgeon are indeed inspired by Bentley's design execution. Each pair boasts facets that includes, but not limited to, the automaker's signature diamond quilting, cross-stitching as seen on the steering wheel, as well as premium leathers identical to those used by Bentley in the cabin of their cars.

At the time of writing, both Bentley and The Surgeon – as well as Adidas – didn’t disclose prices for each pair, but it should be unsurprising if they command serious money.

"This is a very special moment for The Surgeon brand and to showcase our creativity in a new light by collaborating with Bentley. They are at the top of their craft and understand luxury and craftsmanship at the highest level as we do— it’s very exciting to partner with them and brings these visions to life," said designer Ciambrone upon releasing these sneakers earlier this week.

Notably, just 10 pairs of bespoke footwear will be made, and all are presently reserved by Bentley’s Mulliner clients and collectors. Additionally, there will be a one-of-one Bentley x The Surgeon specially commissioned vehicle set for unveiling next month during design week at Art Basel Miami. The buyer of said vehicle will receive a matching pair of one-off sneakers.
