Meet the MINI Giant RC Car Controller, An EV Charger Not Like the Other

Check out this MINI gigantic RC remote controller which is displayed near to the Los Angeles Convention Centre. The British Brand opted to elevate their brand image by building not only huge, but also functional 240V Level 2 electric chargers, measured at 2.75 metres tall.

MINI Cooper SE Nanuq White
On top of its interesting shape and size, the EV charger designed in the same colour as the MINI Cooper SE which now available in Nanuq White. More than that, a 10-inch interactive screen with advertising videos from the manufacturer placed in the base plus a contrasting roof in the form of a black-painted top piece altogether.
To explore more on MINI’s electric range, users could explore by scanning a QR code that directs to an AR page. Meanwhile, those who wanted to utilise the one of a kind charger must hunt down by seeking for a parking space that says "OUT-FUN THE COMPETITION" which then following an indication of "Charge this way."
Brand Communications Manager at Mini USA, Rah Mahtani once stated that at MINI, they always like to add a splash of excitement to remind people of the fun and creativity that is inherent in MINI’s culture.

"We seek to keep the fun and excitement of driving alive for everyone who enjoys it, and this project combines ideas from today's electric vehicles with our collective nostalgia for the electric RC cars of our youth" he added.
As the exhibition period lasted on the recent November 18 and 19, the massive charger probably having a tour in various locations across United States, as well as several local Mini dealers throughout California.
Interestingly, after range anxiety, charging is likely the aspect of electric vehicles that future owners find most baffling as some might find it terrifying. Whether the recent statement speaks the truth or not, MINI showed another way to allay those anxieties by constructing such a supportive and fun campaign as part of its marketing ploy.
