New Goodyear Assurance ComfortTred Launched – from RM420 per piece
Goodyear Malaysia has introduced its new Assurance ComfortTred tyre model, thus expanding its current Assurance products portfolio. The comfort-focused Assurance line-up is tailored for luxury passenger vehicles, providing refined driving experience without compromising passengers’ comfort.
Speaking during the new tyre’s launch was Alex Ng, Managing Director of Goodyear Malaysia. “The Assurance ComfortTred is an exciting new product specifically tailored for luxury passenger vehicles,” said the exec.
“We believe that the Assurance ComfortTred is a true comfort provider that enables the vehicle to become a quiet space,” Ng further added.
The new Assurance ComfortTred tyre boasts Goodyear’s proprietary ANX technology, effective in reducing rolling noise. Its noise insulation has been improved, coupled with sophisticated tread design that helps mitigate air pumping noise, as well as lowering the impact force from the tarmac. This, in all, promises a much quieter and smoother ride.
The rubber compound in this new ComfortTred tyre has been updated, with more silica and resin being added for better grip, even under wet conditions. Said new compound formulation also allows more water to be dispersed away from the tyre, ensuring much better performance and grip in the wet.
The Assurance ComfortTred will be available in 12 sizes, suitable for both gasoline or electric vehicles. It starts from 16-inch at 215/55 profile to 19-inch and 245/45 profile. Said tyre should be ideal for luxury passenger cars such as the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series as well as Mercedes E-Class, to name a few.
Customers can get their hands on Goodyear’s new Assurance tyre at Goodyear Autocare and any other participating Goodyear stores. The Assurance ComfortTred’s price starts at RM420 a piece and can go up to RM860, depending on size.
A special launch promotion will commence from Nov 25 onwards, whereby 200 eligible customers who purchase a full set (four pieces) of Assurance ComfortTred tyres stand a chance to win a premium JBL headphones, while stock lasts.
