2022 Modern & Luxurious Mercedes Maybach S580

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia once again boosted the country's automobile industry when it introduced the Mercedes-Maybach S580 at The Estate on Federal Hill, Kuala Lumpur.

This beast is priced at RM 1.9 million which offers a four -year warranty with no mileage limit. You did not read it wrong; the figure is what it is.

Looking at the bodywork, the iconic Maybach S-Class symbolises its luxury in addition to displaying top notch quality. 

On the side note, Maybach is adorned in a dual-tone hand-painted job which took 7 days to complete. This model comes with 253-LED, 64-colour active ambient lighting system which offers dual concept hues, rose gold white and amethyst glow.

Riding on 21-inch alloy rim, the beast is longer than the regular S-Class as the body measurements are 5,469 mm, 180mm longer than a standard S-Class.

Touching on its performance, the Maybach S-Class S580 receives an 8-cylinder hybrid petrol power train which offers 503 hp of power at 5,000rpm and 700 Nm of torque between 2,000rpm -4,500rpm. With a maximum speed of 250km/h, S Class Maybach is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kilometres per hour in just 4.8 seconds.

Stepping into the cabin through the power assistance door, you can feel extra comfort as the seats are wrapped in Nappa Maybach Exclusive leather as well as adjustable memory, heating, and airflow as well as a massage system.

Rear passengers are also given a foldable table and both seats are ‘served’ with a seven-inch Android tablet including an 11.6-inch infotainment screen. Apart from that, there’s a refrigerator that allows occupants to store drinks.

Infotainment aspects, S Class Mayback is equipped with a 3D sound system with 15 speakers powered by 710 watts, along with road noise filtering and at least five display screens based on OLED technology including a 12.8-inch screen.

Among its safety features, the model is fitted with 14 airbags and there are special airbags for its passengers. In addition, there’s also Pre-Safe and Pre-Safe Impulse Side.
