RON97 Fuel Price From 25 To 31 August Decreases
The fuel price for RON97 will decrease by 5 cents starting from 25 to 31 August. Making the current price for RON97 to be at RM 4.30 per litre from RM 4.35 per litre.
According to the Ministry of Finance, they will maintain the ceiling prices of RON95 at RM 2.05 per litre and diesel at RM 2.15 per litre.
Despite the actual prices for both products having increased over the ceiling rate, this was to ensure that users will not be affected with the actual global value.
"The government will continue to monitor the impact of crude oil price fluctuations and take appropriate measures to safeguard the well-being of the people," said the Ministry of Finance.
