2023 Fuel Price Updates – January 26-Feb 1: No Changes Once Again
As announced by the Ministry of Finance today, the retail prices of all fuels in Malaysia for the final week of January 2023 remains unchanged yet again. As per the week before, these prices will last for another week from Jan 26 to Feb 1, 2023.
Once again, premium RON 97 sees no changes at RM3.35 per litre, as does regular RON 95 as it continues to retail at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre set by the government as far back as Feb 2021.
On to the diesel blends, all three also see no changes yet again for the final week of January 2023. Both Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends remains at RM 2.15 per litre, whilst Euro 5 B7 resumes with the same RM2.35 per litre figure as it did last week.
As usual, these prices take effect from midnight tonight until the next price announcement from the Ministry next Wednesday – Feb 1, 2023. This is the fourth edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, making the 211th since this weekly ‘Automatic Pricing Mechanism’ format was introduced and enforced at the start of 2019.
