Locations Of Chinese New Year Traffic Hotspots In Selangor Pinpointed - Police

Several locations in six Selangor districts have been identified as potential hotspots for traffic congestion during the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations. The districts involved, according to acting Selangor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk S. Sasikala Devi, are Sabak Bernam, North Klang, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Ampang Jaya, and Gombak. DCP Sasikala Devi stated this to reporters on Monday after launching the state's Ops Selamat operation at the Gombak toll plaza (Jan 16). She also stated that traffic on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak highway is expected to reach 171,000 vehicles during the festive season, which begins on Friday (Jan 20).
