Pasir Gudang Highway To Be Upgraded For RM78 Million

This year, the Federal Government will allocate RM78 million toward the Pasir Gudang Highway upgrade.
Hassan Abdul Karim, a member of parliament from Pasir Gudang, stated that the 5.5 km of work involves upgrading the intersection at Bandar Seri Alam and Taman Rinting to Pasir Gudang.
He announced that over the following 36 months, through October 2025, the road would be widened from four lanes to six dual-carriageway lanes.
Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh, the chairman of the State Works, Transportation, and Infrastructure Committee, delivered the news, according to Hassan, who announced the upgrade in a statement today.

He said in a statement released today, "I would like to thank Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for paying attention to the state of the highway.
Initially, it was anticipated that the package's construction would begin at the end of 2022 and last for about 36 months.
The road is said to be a death trap for motorcycle riders due to its potholes, is dimly lit, and has recently experienced frequent flash floods.
