AirAsia Hari Raya Aidilfitri Fixed Fare Promo For Flights To East Malaysia - RM199 to RM249

The Minister of Transport, YB Anthony Loke today officiated the announcement of AirAsia’s additional fixed fare flights for this upcoming Hari Raya festive period.
The prices of these additional flights are fixed at RM199 and RM249 one-way from KLIA or Johor Bahru to Sarawak and Sabah. These promotional prices are only applicable for the additional flights with specific numbers as announced and include all fees and taxes.

To take advantage of this promotional price, all booking can be made beginning today till the 30th Apr 2023 for the travel period between 19 to 21 Apr 2023 and 28 to 30 Apr 2023. Furthermore, BigPay users would also enjoy 5% off all AirAsia flights with flight code ‘AK’ in 2023 just by using the promo code “BIGPAY5”.
During the launch, YB Loke said, “This is the second time this year I’m officiating AirAsia’s special ‘fixed fares’ for the festive season, and I’m deeply pleased that AirAsia is staying true to its commitment to support the government’s initiative to lower fares during these peak travel periods. We’ve come together as a nation to overcome the tough past few years and it’s commendable of AirAsia to ensure that inexpensive travel is an available option for many. These fixed fares will enable thousands of people to ‘balik kampung’ and reunite with their nearest and dearest in an affordable manner. I implore other industry players to follow suit and bring down the cost of travel ‒ particularly during the festive periods for more folks to enjoy making precious memories with their friends and families.”

Bo Lingam, Group CEO of AirAsia Aviation Group Limited further added that, “Festive seasons are a time when the travel industry usually sees a hike in prices, but for AirAsia, we are committed to connecting our guests with their loved ones at an affordable price. Enabling everyone, especially Malaysians to travel has and will always be our mission and vision since 2001.
All festive travellers during this coming Hari Raya Aidilfitri season are also advised to arrive two hours earlier than their departure time to avoid congestion. They are also advised to perform their own self-check-in by using the AirAsia application as early as 14-days before their scheduled travel date.
