Around 750 cyclists gathered in Ipoh and its surrounding areas for a car-free adventure as part of the Isuzu Fun Ride 2023. The event, hosted by Weng Fatt Otomobil, an authorised Isuzu Malaysia dealer, marked the official opening of their newly renovated 3S Centre. The local assemblyman praised this eco-friendly and health-conscious event, emphasising the importance of appreciating our cities while promoting environmentally friendly activities.

The Isuzu Fun Ride showcased Ipoh's stunning sights and allowed participants to enjoy a leisurely ride through the city's landmarks. The Isuzu Fun Ride began at the Isuzu 3S facility on Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun and travelled 40 kilometres through Ipoh's iconic landmarks. The event was kicked off by Pasir Pinji assemblyman YB Goh See Hua, who was joined by Isuzu Malaysia CEO Shunsuke Okazoe, COO Kenkichi Sogo, and Weng Fatt Otomobil Director Cheng Kah Yik.

YB Goh emphasised the importance of events such as the Isuzu Fun Ride in cultivating a greater appreciation for the cities in which we live. Participants developed a closer bond with their surroundings while engaging in a healthy and environmentally friendly activity suitable for cyclists of all levels by leisurely exploring the urban landscape on bicycles.
The assemblyman hoped that other organisations would follow suit, organising similar events to encourage people to appreciate the beauty of their cities.
The Isuzu Fun Ride in Ipoh will be the fodder for similar events in future with rides planned by Isuzu dealers in other major locations around the country.
