Proton offers Rahmah Package for motor vehicle servicing.
The public has widely praised the government's Rahmah Package for motor vehicle servicing as an affordable option for vehicle owners during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri season. Some have even stated that it is one of the best initiatives for the occasion. N.V. Subbarow, senior education officer at the Consumers Association of Penang, praised the package as the best gift for lowering servicing costs and easing the burden on many people.

He did, however, remind vehicle owners to be wary of the price and not accept poor service simply because it is part of the Rahmah Package. "Vehicle owners must check prices beforehand and obtain a receipt for the services provided," he recently told Bernama, adding that they must obtain a receipt for the service done. Subbarow also urged relevant authorities to place feedback forms in all workshops offering the Rahmah Package service in order to obtain vehicle owners' feedback on the services and labour and parts prices charged.

On April 13, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry, in collaboration with Proton and Perodua, has launched the Rahmah Package for cheaper motor vehicle servicing, which is valid until May 31. He stated that the Malaysia Madani concept is being supported by the government as well as all parties, particularly players in various industries such as retail, food and beverage, textiles, hospitality, food-based manufacturing, and automotive.
