DBKL Announces GOKL Buses Switch From Colour To Number Identification!
Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) has announced, starting 1st August 2023 all GOKL route names would be changed from colours to numbers. Listed below are the the list of all the GOKL and its corresponding new number.
- Green Line (KLCC - Bukit Bintang) will be changed to GOKL 01 KLCC – Bukit Bintang (HIJAU)
- Purple Line / Laluan Ungu (Hab Pasar Seni – Bukit Bintang) will be changed to GOKL 02 HAB Pasar Seni - Bukit Bintang (UNGU)
- Red Line / Laluan Merah (Hab Titiwangsa – KL Sentral) will be changed to GOKL 03 HAB Titiwangsa – KL Sentral (MERAH)
- Blue Line / Laluan Biru (Hab Titiwangsa – Bukit Bintang) will be changed to GOKL 04 HAB Titiwangsa - Bukit Bintang (BIRU)
- Orange Line / Laluan Jingga (HAB Titiwangsa - MINDEF) will be changed to GOKL 05 HAB Titiwangsa – MINDEF (OREN)
- Pink Line / Laluan Merah Jambu (PPR Pantai Ria – LRT Universiti) will be changed to GOKL 06 PPR Pantai Ria – LRT Universiti (MERAH JAMBU)
- Turquoise Line / Laluan Biru Firus (LRT Dato’ Keramat – Kelumpuk Bambu (Setiawangsa) will be changed to GOKL 07 LRT Dato’ Keramat – Kelumpuk Bambu (Setiawangsa) (HIJAU FIRUS)
- Maroon Line / Laluan Merah Manggis (MRT Kampung Batu – Chow Kit) will be changed to GOKL 08 KTM / MRT Kampung Batu – CHOW KIT (MERAH MANGGIS)
- Chocolate Line / Laluan Coklat LRT Sri Rampai – Sek 10 Wangsa Maju) will be changed to GOKL 09LRT Sri Rampai – Sek 10 Wangsa Maju (COKLAT)
- Parrot Green Line / Laluan Hijau Serindit (Terminal Maluri – Bandar Sri Permaisuri) will be changed to GOKL 10 Terminal Maluri – Bandar Sri Permaisuri (HIJAU SERINDIT)
- Grey Line / Laluan Kelabu (MRT Maluri – Bandar Tun Razak) will be changed to GOKL 11 MRT Maluri – Bandar Tun Razak (KELABUREY)
- Cream Line / Laluan Krim (Taman Fadason – MRT Sri Delima) will be changed to GOKL Taman Fadason – MRT Sri Delima (KRIM)
- Magenta Line / Laluan Merah Lembayung (MRT Jinjang - Matrade) will be changed to GOKL 13 MRT Jinjang – MATRADE (MERAH LEMBAYUNG).
For the time being, GOKL would temporarily retain the color names at the end of the route indication to avoid confusion among the public. GOKL bus users are encouraged to download and use the GOKL App to stay updated with the latest information and announcements regarding the GOKL bus service.
