BMW Malaysia Signs MoU With Leader Energy On PLUS Highway Charging Network

BMW Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Leader EV Solutions Sdn Bhd, a fully owned subsidiary of Leader Energy Holding Berhad, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Through this agreement, Leader Energy will carry BMW branding along Malaysia's North-South Highway.

“Our latest initiative with Leader Energy exemplifies both our shared commitments towards enhancing public access to charging infrastructure nationwide and alleviating range anxiety, especially on a long-distance journey. With this MOU, we look forward to expanding our charging network of over 1,000 facilities even further and providing our customers with a complete premium EV ownership experience.”
Leader EV Solutions will develop, install, operate, and maintain the Galaxy Charge network and raise awareness of EV charging technology under the terms of the MOU, while BMW Malaysia will create a subscription or membership programme through this network.
