Third-Gen Perodua Myvi X & H Get AV’s Cranberry Red Colour

Perodua has quietly updated the colourway options for both the third-gen Myvi X and H facelift variants, as both models are now offered with the Cranberry Red exterior colour option. This was revealed by the automaker via its official website, with the new red hue replacing the previous Lava Red hue offered to both said models.

Both the Myvi X & H now come with then-AV-exclusive Cranberry Red hue
Prior to this update, the Cranberry Red hue was originally reserved for the range-topping Myvi AV model, which was first offered back when the national automaker facelifted its third-gen hatch back in 2021. Meanwhile, the current facelifted X and H models were being offered with a different shade of red.

Both the X & H variants are previously offered with the striking Lava Red hue
Known as the Lava Red, this old colourway is quite distinguishable against the new Cranberry Red one, featuring a brighter and more striking red hue akin to Ferrari’s signature ‘Rosso Corsa’ red hue. On the other hand, the ‘new’ Cranberry Red hue is a tad bit darker, deeper and more purplish than the former, as its namesake suggests.

However, the new Cranberry Red is only offered to both the X and H variants of the facelifted third-gen Myvi, aside from the range-topping AV model. This means that the basic Myvi 1.3 G spec will no longer have a red hue option, with the only colour options offered to the baseline model being the Electric Blue, Ivory White, and Glittering Silver.
Fortunately, this update somehow has no effect on the models’ prices, with both the Myvi X and H are still priced at RM50,900 and RM54,900 (on-the-road sans insurance) respectively. Both models are being powered by the same powertrain setup as the AV model, which comprises of a 1.5-litre 4-cyl nat-asp VVT-i petrol mill that is mated to a D-CVT gearbox to deliver 103 PS and 137 NM.
