Proton Presents Malaysian Cultural Handicrafts To Hangzhou Asian Games Museum

PROTON is an Official Vehicle Partner for the 19th Asian Games, which is held in Hangzhou from 23rd September to 8th October 2023. The national carmaker showed its support for unity, sportsmanship, and Malaysian culture for the event by presenting a collection of cultural handicrafts to the Hangzhou Asian Games Museum along with Malaysian sporting representatives and the Geely Holding Group on September 22, 2023.
Roslan Abdullah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PROTON, stated, "Embracing our Malaysian roots and cherishing our rich heritage, we are dedicated to sharing our Nation's essence with the world. Through the donation of these cultural crafts to the Asian Games Museum, PROTON contributes to the building of relationships between countries, bringing unity in this 19th Asian Games.”



The Malaysian delegation proudly hands over the distinctive handicraft that will grace the Hangzhou Asian Games Museum after being cordially welcomed by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC). This will showcase Malaysia's craftsmanship to a global audience and further promote cultural exchange and the spirit of the Asian Games.
The presentation also represents a special cultural exchange, enhancing the spirit of the Asian Games, and it breathes new life into the ties of friendship and cooperation among Asian countries.
