Ban On Tinted Windows Under MOT Jurisdiction - Nancy
The Ministry of Transport (MOT) is in charge of the planned ban on tinted car windows, which is intended to prevent fatal cases of children being left in the car , according to Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development.
According to The Vibes, Nancy stated that the issue has been brought to the attention of Transport Minister Anthony Loke. She further stated that the MOT will determine whether further action is required.
We recently reported that the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development (KPWKM) had received proposals, one of which calls for the outlawing of tinted car windows in the aftermath of three fatal incidents involving children left in locked vehicles in the last two months.
While applying the ban to prevent the aforementioned cases in Malaysia is logical, the government must also consider other factors such as motorist safety and Malaysia's weather.
Having said that, parents have a responsibility to use caution and to double-check their belongings, especially their priceless child. Remind your partner and everyone nearby to always alert you about your child in the car whenever you stop by a nursery or somewhere else before getting out of the vehicle. Their life is too valuable to let it be taken by your negligence.
