Gentari Petronas Solaris Putra NSE Southbound Now LIVE - RM1.40/Minute

Gentari is currently expanding its charging points (CP) across the country in an effort to reach its goal of 400 CPs by the end of the year. As of right now, 268 charging stations are operational, and more are in various phases of preparation, according to our source in Gentari.
Petronas Solaris Putra NSE Southbound, which has three (3) Kempower DCFC satellite chargers, is one of the newest EV charging stations to go live from Gentari. This charger can only be accessed via the KL-Seremban route, not through Besraya, according to Plugshare.

Check on the JomCharge App, the recommended mobile app to use the majority of the Gentari EV chargers, reveals that this station is a 180kW station, but does not offer the standard Kempower dynamic charging capability.

As a result, none of the Kempower satellite chargers would have the dynamic shared output capability for which they are renowned for. The individual output of each Kempower charger here would be limited to a maximum of 60kW.
In addition, the Gentari Petronas Solaris Putra charging station sees time-based fee of RM1.40 per minute applied. According to insiders, the time-based fee would be transient in order to get past the Energy Commission's (ST) delayed licensing scheme for EV station. After the required licence is acquired, Gentari will resume its standard kWh-based pricing.

Noteworthy, anyone utilising this charging station may choose to recharge themselves at any of the F&B establishments found at this Petronas station, which including Starbucks, TeaLive, Subway, and more.
