Launched: Kia Carnival 11-Seater (CKD) – RM198K Introductory Price

The locally-assembled (CKD) version of the Kia Carnival 11-Seater model debuts in Malaysia today!
Dinamikjaya Motors Sdn Bhd (Bermaz Auto), official importers and distributors of Kia brands in Malaysia has expanded the Carnival MPV lineup today by introducing the new Kia Carnival 11-Seater model. Now locally-assembled (CKD) at the Inokom Assembly Plant in Kulim, Kedah, this Korean MPV model comes with an extra row of seats at the back, while featuring similar appearance and general equipment as its three-row siblings.

Previously offered as a fully-imported (CBU) unit, the new Carnival 11-Seater comes with similar design cues to both its CBU twin and its other three-row siblings, while underpinning the advanced Hyundai-Kia N3 platform that it shares with the Sorento SUV. Key exterior equipment include dual LED headlights flanking its signature tiger nose front grille, full-width LED combination taillights, powered sliding doors and tailgate, as well as the 18-inch wheels this MPV rides on.
Other than that, the new Carnival 11-Seater CKD model is also offered with the same four exterior hues as other Carnival models, including the signature Astra Blue, Snow White Pearl, Meteor Gray, and Jet Black.

On board, this 11-seater comes standard with a pretty decent cabin equipment list, with key highlights include a 12.3-inch LCD infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, wireless charging pad, seven USB charging ports, as well as leatherette upholstery option coming in either Black or Grey. More importantly, all three rows of the Carnival’s back seats can be folded down and stowed away, allowing users with better cabin layout flexibility.

In term of safety features, the 11-seater Carnival comes with a host of standard safety and advanced safety features which includes 7 SRS Airbags (Front & Passenger, Driver Knee, Side and Curtain), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Multi-Collision Brake Control (MCB), ISOFIX Child Restraint Anchor Points and Top Tethers as well as Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC). The Carnival also comes equipped with Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) and Rear Cross-Traffic Avoidance Assist (RCCA).
Motivation is still provided by the same 2.2-litre 4-cyl CRDi turbodiesel mill we saw on other variants of the Carnival. Mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox with an electronic shifter, the 11-seater Carnival boasts a total system output of 199 HP and 440 NM, which is good enough to power this four-row MPV to a top speed of V-max, as well as a pretty decent fuel economy rate of 6.5 litres per 100 KM.

From Nov 1 to Dec 31, 2023, the all-new Kia Carnival 11-Seater (CKD) model is offered with a special introductory price of RM195,800
Now officially open for booking, the all-new Kia Carnival 11-Seater (CKD) is priced at RM215,228 on-the-road sans insurance and add-ons, which is surprisingly higher than the previous CBU model. Fortunately, for a limited time from Nov 1 until Dec 31 2023, Dinamikjaya Motors is offering this four-row MPV with a special introductory price of RM198,500 inclusive of accessories. As standard, the 11-seater Carnival (CKD) comes with a 5-year or 100,000 KM manufacturer warranty, plus a complimentary 5-year or 100,000 KM Free Scheduled Maintenance package.
Those who are keen to size-up the new Carnival 11-Seater model can visit the Bermaz Auto Showcase event which will take place from Nov 1 to 5, 2023 at the Centre Court of Pavilion Bukit Jalil from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
