PLUS Anticipates 2 Million Vehicles This Deepavali - Use TTA To Avoid Congestion

During the Peak Days of the upcoming Deepavali holidays, PLUS expects to see almost 2 million vehicles per day on its routes. As a result, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) has released the Travel Time Advisory (TTA) schedule for the North-South Expressway's Deepavali celebrations, which will take place from November 10 to November 14, 2023.
The TTA schedule is intended to help passengers plan their trips and to support PLUS's more effective traffic management. The goal of this strategy is to simultaneously prevent traffic jams at important intersections on the route. Still, it's critical to remember that unanticipated things like accidents and other circumstances might cause movement on the highway to be disrupted.

For this reason, PLUS recommends that highway users plan their trips according to the TTA, not only for their outbound journeys from the Klang Valley, in line with the Balik Kampung tradition but also for their return journey to the Klang Valley after the holiday period.
In accordance with PLUS's TTA, on November 10 and 11, travellers from the Klang Valley to Perlis, Kedah, Penang, and Perak North should leave between 8 and 1am; those going to Perak Central should leave between 4 and 7pm; Johor, Melaka South, should leave between 10 and 1pm; Negeri Sembilan and Melaka should leave between 1 and 4pm; and travellers from all other states should leave after 10pm.

On November 12th and 14th, those from Perlis, Penang, and Perak are recommended to return to the Klang Valley between 10am and 1pm, while those from Johor, Melaka, and Negeri Sembilan should travel between 8am and 11am. It is recommended that travellers from all other states leave after 10 p.m.
In order to help with travel preparation for the forthcoming Deepavali celebration, travellers are recommended to download the PLUS App and make use of the My-TTA function.
