These Adidas Bugatti Football Boots Are Rarer Than An Actual Bugatti!

Adidas debuted the Bugatti of football boots - literally - that's set to be RARER than the hypercar that inspired it!

Call this the most unlikeliest collaboration if you will, but we’re certain die-hard fans and collectors will soon be chasing after these pair of kicks. No points for guessing right who are the collaborative entities behind the Adidas X Crazyfest Bugatti football boots pictured here.

Based on the famed German three-striped sportswear giant’s X Crazyfest laced football boots, it boasts “characteristics that have come to define Bugatti,”, according to its makers. It also promises to be equally as rare – or perhaps rarer – than the equivalent Bugatti Chiron hypercar that apparently inspired it.

Dubbed as the Adidas X Crazyfest Bugatti, these football boots were inspired by the Bugatti Chiron hypercar.

Whilst the Chiron harnesses a manic 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 mill with 1,500 PS on tap, these boots instead are powered using Adidas’s innovative Speedframe sole plate tech to create the lightest and most rigid plate possible for – you guessed it – rapid acceleration on the pitch.

Also, whereby the Chiron richly uses carbon fibre for the bulk of its body’s construction with highly engineered aerodynamics, these X Crazyfest Bugatti boots has something called the ‘Aerocage’ lining designed to provide both ideal mid-foot support and stability.

Like the Chiron, these X Crazyfest boots by Adidas were built with a sole purpose - high speed.

Wearers – or players – will also be impressed by the adoption of Adidas’s proprietary  ‘Aeropacity Speedskin’ breathable monomesh layer here that promises both speed and stability. Of course, there are some carbon fibre present here too, albeit its visual aesthetics being replicated for the boot’s inlay.

These boots will debut on the pitch this month and grace the feet of superstar footballers Rafael Leao and Karim Benzema exclusively. After which, just 99 pairs of the Adidas X Crazyfest Bugatti will be up for grabs, with each pair set to command prices higher the standard Adidas X Crazyfest boot’s €260 – approx. RM1,310 - MSRP.

Just 99 pairs will be up for grabs via a special online auction, and each are set to fetch way higher prices than the standard X Crazyfest boots Adidas widely retails.

Ironically, these Bugatti-themed football boots stands arguably rarer that the actual Bugatti hypercar that inspired it - just 500 examples of the Chiron have been built and delivered. Mind you, said figure includes all seven limited-run special editions plus a trio of one-offs.

Moreover, all 99 pairs will be auctioned exclusively online via the Adidas Collect Web 3 platform from 8 Nov to 11 Nov. Winning bidders will initially receive an “exclusive digital shoebox” that can be used to redeem a physical pair starting 13 Nov onwards.
