Launched: MINI Countryman JCW Trim – Just 168 Units, RM253,833 Each
MINI Malaysia is bidding farewell to the second-gen (F60) Countryman crossover with a JCW Trim final-run special.
MINI Malaysia is bidding farewell to the current-generation MINI Countryman with a final-run special. Christened as the MINI Countryman John Cooper Works Trim (JCW Trim) , just 168 units have been allocated locally.
Based on the familiar face-lifted second-gen (F60) Countryman model, the JCW Trim special features an additional JCW aerokit primed for its exterior matched with a set of 19-inch JCW Circuit Spoke wheels shod in run-flat tyres,
Whilst on the exterior still, MINI Malaysia notes that the JCW Trim special can be ordered in four paintjob options – British Racing Green, Chilli Red, Nanuq White, and Sage Green.

Just 168 units of the JCW Trim-treated Countryman will be available, each sporting a distinct JCW aerokit plus 19-inch JCW Circuit Spoke wheels shod in run-flat tyres.
A similar story unfolds inside as the JCW Trim treats the Countryman’s cabin with anthracite sun visors and dome light housing plus anthracite pillars spanning the entire cabin’s length. Oddly, MINI Malaysia also notes the addition of grab handles for front and rear passengers in this special.
Aesthetics aside, the Countryman JCW Trim remains mechanically similar to the regular Countryman Cooper S it underpins. At the heart of which is a 2.0-litre TwinPower 4-cyl turbocharged petrol mill outputting 192 HP and 280 NM to the front wheels via 7-speed DCT automatic box.
Said powertrain package enables this premium crossover SUV to despatch 0-100 KM/H sprints in just 7.6 seconds whilst enroute towards a claimed 226 KM/H V-Max. Retained too is the powertrain’s offer of selectable drive modes.
As for price, each Countryman JCW Trim commands RM253,833 - RM3,500 more than the regular Countryman model.
As for price, the MINI Countryman JCW Trim is tagged at RM253,833 each, which sees it cost RM3,500 more than the regular Countryman Cooper S model’s RM250,388 figure – both prices exclude the optional MINI Extended Warranty & Service Package that costs an additional RM10,400.
Included in said standard price is MINI Malaysia’s usual 2-year warranty coverage plus 5-year roadside assistance privilege. The extended warranty and service plan mentioned extends warranty length u to 4-years instead.
Additionally, the Countryman JCW Trim special also sees an exclusive 0% interest rate offer via the Straight Line Financing scheme offered by BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia.
For a limited-time, MINI Malysia is also offering an exclusive 0% interest rate offer on the MINI Countryman JCW Trim financed using the Straight Line Financing scheme offered by BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia (terms & conditions apply).
Both MINI Malaysia and parent BMW Group Malaysia remain tight-lipped as to when the new third-gen Countryman model will debut locally. However, insiders have hinted to CariCarz.com that this slated to happen this year, and it likely start with said model’s EV version first.
