BRT Sunway Station Realigned For Under Armour Dual Run On April 27

The Under Armour Dual Run, a two-person 21.1 KM relay race, will take place this Saturday, April 27 in Sunway. This run will be held on the BRT Sunway elevated bus track, with the flag off scheduled for 10.30 PM.

In conjunction with this event, the BRT Sunway elevated bus track will be closed to allow for event preparations starting from 6PM on the same day.

As a result, RapidKL announced that its BRT Sunway Line will instead operate pick-up and drop-off services at street level on April 27 from 6PM to 12AM. This is with the exception of the four stations listed below, which will have different pick-up and drop-off locations.

The new temporary pick-up and drop-off locations to replace the elevated BRT Stations would be Bus Stop SJ692 in front of KK Mart replacing Station USJ 7, Bus Stop SJ67 Mydin replacing Station South Quay, Bus Stop PJ179 Sunway Mentari West replacing Station Mentari, and Bus Stop Setia Jaya replacing Station Sunway Setia Jaya.

Both BRT and motorists are encouraged to take note of this closure and temporary service realignment, and plan their routes accordingly to prevent congestion. To maintain seamless traffic flow, runners are recommended to park their vehicles at the Depot Park and Ride instead of parking on the kerbside.
