MySubsidi Diesel Fleet Oil Suppliers Raised To Three With Immediate Approval

The government approved expanding the MySubsidi Diesel system's selection possibilities from two to three oil supply companies, which will take effect immediately. The corporations involved are Petronas, Shell, Petron, Caltex, and BHP.
Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), made the announcement at a news conference yesterday, stating that the increase was prompted by feedback from both oil supplier firms and transportation industry participants.
"We have chosen to increase the alternatives accessible to goods transportation companies. Previously limited to two suppliers, they can now select three of five specified companies when registering for MySubsidi Diesel," Armizan added.
Prior to the press conference, Armizan held a stakeholder engagement session with the transportation industry and oil supply companies to gain the support of land transportation association members.
The goal of the session was to expedite the process of getting fleet cards from selected oil suppliers, guaranteeing that transportation companies can enjoy government subsidies once implemented.
Armizan also encouraged goods transportation businesses to apply for fleet cards as soon as possible, despite the fact that no deadline exists. Although many people have already enrolled through the MySubsidi Diesel system, he explained that some are apprehensive and want to see the procedure before applying.
"At the earlier engagement session, industry associations pledged to promote and encourage their members to apply for fleet cards immediately after registering in the MySubsidi Diesel system," he said. He highlighted that prompt registration leads to immediate approval if all documents are in order, although securing a fleet card may take up to three weeks from the oil supply companies.
Furthermore, Armizan has instructed oil supply companies to prepare for an uptick in demand by increasing their fleet card reservations ahead of expected additional applications.
