Ann Joo Resources Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Ann Joo Metal Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM297.90 million construction contract from a subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Bhd. According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the contract comes from Tenaga Switchgear Sdn Bhd and involves the electrification of feeder stations along the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) in Terengganu and Pahang.

The filing states that Ann Joo’s unit, in collaboration with its consortium partner, Indonesia’s PT Lumintu Insan Mandiri, has been awarded the design and build project for the electrification of the feeder stations. This includes constructing a 132kV switching station, installing overhead transmission lines, laying underground cables, and performing associated works.
