Free Water Taxi, Lake Cruise Services For National Day Celebration
Water taxi and lake cruise services will be available for public transportation to the 67th National Day celebration at Dataran Putrajaya on August 31.
According to Putrajaya Corporation engineer Faridz Amli Shaharudin, visitors can take advantage of these free services from three locations: water taxis at the Putrajaya Lake Club jetty and Ayer 8 jetty, and lake cruises at Marina jetty. Furthermore, three primary parking lots with a capacity of 1,200 cars each will be available at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre, near the Putrajaya Sentral, Persiaran Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, and the Botanical Garden.
“We are also deploying 80 shuttle buses, including 40 double-deck and 40 single-deck buses. “We encourage the public to use public transport as vehicular access to the core island will be completely restricted this year,” he added.
