MMM Delivers 40,000th Mitsubishi Xpander MPV Crossover

The Mitsubishi Xpander reached a milestone recently as it saw its 40,000th unit delivered, and its lucky owner rewarded.
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) revealed earlier today that production and deliveries of its popular Mitsubishi Xpander MPV crossover model have reached the 40,000th mark. To commemorate the occasion, MMM also rewarded the lucky 40,000th Xpander owner.
Following a month-long sales campaign centred on the Xpander, Puan Zaty Ewany was picked out as the lucky 40,000th Xpander owner to be rewarded from this campaign. A resident of Selisih Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, the full-time teacher and mother of five won a RM10,000 travel voucher.
Puan Zaty received both her new Xpander and her special prize mentioned from MMM CEO Shinya Ikeda in a special handover ceremony held recently at RIF Auto Sdn Bhd – one of MMM’s key authorised dealers.

“When we launched the XPANDER in late 2020, our vision was to create a vehicle that not only meets the diverse needs of our customers but also enriches our owner’s lifestyle,” elaborates Ikeda regarding one of the firm’s best-sellers.
Launched back in Nov 2020, the Mitsubishi Xpander uniquely merges both the spacious comforts and practicality of a 7-seat MPV and the rugged styling and versatility of a crossover SUV. Since its launch, the Xpander has proven popular amongst many buyers with families.
Space aside, the Xpander is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cyl MIVEC petrol heart outputting 105 HP and 131 NM. It’s paired with a 4-speed automatic box that sends drive to the front wheels. Notable features on board include a 9-inch infotainment offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360-degree parking camera, black leather seats, Driving Video Recorder (DVR), and more.

Launched back in Nov 2020, the Mitsubishi Xpander uniquely packages the comforts, space and practicality of a 7-seat MPV with the rugged styling and versatility of a crossover SUV. It is current priced at RM100, 980 and includes a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty.
Though this recent campaign for the Xpander has ended, MMM notes that special rebates and bonuses are still on offer for the model at authorised showrooms and dealerships now. The Xpander is presently priced at RM100,980 and comes with a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty.
Special deals on current stock aside, MMM is gearing up to introduce an updated and refreshed version of the Xpander soon. The firm hasn’t indicated when it will do so, but expect this best-selling family mover to arrive ahead of the latest-generation Triton pick-up truck.
