Probe Paper Of NSE Crash Involving Police Escort Being Finalised
According to JSPT Bukit Aman director Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri, who spoke to Harian Metro, PDRM is awaiting a report from Puspakom in order to finish its investigation into the case involving a VIP police escort car colliding with a civilian vehicle at KM259 of the PLUS North South Highway last Saturday. A police car believed to be escorting a VIP struck the back of a civilian Proton Saga on the PLUS expressway on Saturday, November 16, in the rain, according to dashcam footage that is circulating on social media. The two-vehicle incident was reported to authorities, who are currently looking into the matter.

The camera then switches to the severely damaged rear of the Saga, followed by the sound of a child crying. There is also a white Toyota Camry with a broken left headlamp that is not seen in the dashcam clip.
PDRM is investigating the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
