RapidKL Launches MyTourist Pass For KL Visitors

RapidKL has launched the MyTourist Pass prior to the beginning of Visit Malaysia Year 2026, giving visitors easy access to public transportation throughout Kuala Lumpur. The MyTourist Pass was introduced at the RapidKL Festival at Raintree Plaza TRX with the intention of helping the country reach its target of 26.1 million foreign visitors by the following year, Bernama has reported.
Through the promotion of public transportation over private vehicles, this initiative also promotes sustainable tourism. The MyTourist Pass provides unlimited use of RapidKL's bus and train network for a period of one to three days. The pass, which is priced between RM20 and RM40 for Malaysians and RM40 and RM60 for foreign tourists, offers substantial savings at popular attractions like Menara Kuala Lumpur, Petrosains, the Petronas Twin Towers, and Sunway Lagoon.

Pass holders can also take advantage of discounts at more than 30 eateries and retail establishments throughout the city thanks to strategic partnerships with the related parties involved in this initiative.
Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, the deputy prime minister, praised Prasarana's initiative as a welcome boost to Malaysia's travel and tourism sector.
“The tourism sector is vital for our economy, and the MyTourist Pass will help draw more visitors. It also promotes a more sustainable way for tourists to explore the city,” he said.
The MyTourist Pass was emphasized by Transport Minister Anthony Loke as a component of Malaysia's larger initiative to promote the use of public transportation by visitors.
“Our goal is to make Kuala Lumpur a more accessible and tourist-friendly city by expanding public transport options,” he stated.
