Feature-packed Zeeho AE8 S+ EV Scooter Launched At RM18,888
launched last weekend by MForce is the new Zeeho AE8 S+ 'premium' EV scooter offering pictured.
It appears that Bukit Mertajam-based two-wheeled powerhouse MForce Bike Holding Sdn Bhd (MForce) has elected to end 2024 on a highly charged note – all puns intended – by officially introducing a brand new ‘premium’ EV scooter offering called the Zeeho AE8 S+ last weekend.
Zeeho (stylised as ZEeho) is a new electric brand created by Chinese two-wheels giant CFMoto. This perhaps explains why the new EV scooter pictured – as well as its spare parts – are distributed by importers MForce through its CFMoto Malaysia brand network.
For Malaysia, the Zeeho AE8 S+ sees two paint scheme options available – Starship Silver and Eclipse Silver. Designed primarily for urban use, this EV scooter promises the efficiency of a 150cc combustion scooter plus performance akin to a 250cc combustion scooter.
This EV scooter packs an e-motor outputting 12.5 kW (16.8 HP) and 218 NM to the rear wheel via a belt-drive. It is juiced by two 69V 27Ah lithium-ion battery packs primed under the seat saddle.
At the heart of things is an e-motor outputting 12.5 kW (16.8 HP) and a rather meaty 218 NM of twist, both transmitted to the rear wheel via a belt-drive setup that common amongst scooters. Juicing it is a pair of 69V 27Ah lithium-ion battery packs placed under the seat saddle.
Said package enables 0-50 KM/H sprints in roughly 2.6 secs whilst enroute towards a V-max of approximately 100 KM/H. As for range, a WMTC-rated 105 KM figure is touted whereas charging via a dedicated 1,900W charger sees 0-80% attained in about 2.5 hours.
According to MForce, the Zeeho AE8 S+ promises both the efficiency of a combustion-powered 150cc scooter plus the performance of a combustion-powered 250cc scooter as well.
As for dimensions, the Zeeho AE8 S+ sits 1,910 MM long with a 1,380 MM wheelbase, 743 MM wide and 1,154 MM tall. Adding to which is a rather decent 152 MM ground clearance plus a welcoming 785 MM seat height, though weight is slightly on the hefty side at 133 KG.
Apart from its striking mecha-inspired styling, this EV scooter is also packed with tonnes of features. Whilst the bulk of which are somewhat ‘expected’ to warrant ‘premium’ scooter status, there are other bits that also boost safety, performance and convenience.
Adding to its striking mecha-inspired design are its full-LED adaptive headlights, 'integrated' LED taillamp, and signal repeaters.
The basics include full-LED adaptive headlights matched with a stylish ‘integrated’ LED taillamp plus striking signal repeaters, 12-inch alloy wheels, telescopic front forks plus pre-load adjustable twin rear shocks, as well as all-round Brembo disc brakes with dual-channel ABS primed.
Leg over into the hot seat and riders are greeted by a trick 5-inch TFT instrument display panel equipped with NFC, Bluetooth and dedicated smartphone app connectivity functions, followed by the presence of both USB-A and USB-C charging ports.

All-round Brembo disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, as well as telescopic front forks and adjustable twin rear-shocks are amongst the highlights of the Zeeho AE8 S+'s chassis.

Trick 5-inch TFT instrument display also boasts NFC, Bluetooth and dedicated smartphone app connectivity. Present here too is a cruise control function, as well as both USB-A and USB-C charging ports.

Note-worthy here is the fact that said connectivity functions present enables remote access including locking and unlocking, riding telemetry and data tracking via a dedicated Zeeho Ride app, as well as over-the-air (OTA) updates for the ECU.
Additionally, the Zeeho AE8 S+ sees its electric drivetrain offer its riders with three self-explaining and selectable ride modes – ECO, Street and Sport. Adding to which is the presence of a nifty cruise control feature too.
Now available through MForce’s authorised CFMoto dealers, the Zeeho AE8 S+ commands a nett selling price tag of RM18,888 (excluding insurance and on-the-road costs). A two-year or 20,000 KM warranty is provided to cover manufacturing defects.
