Lucky Mercedes-AMG Owners Rewarded By MBM

The festive atmosphere at the HSS Autohaus Balakong last weekend during the exclusive "Drive To Thrill" soiree for local Mercedes-AMG customers.

For Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM), 2024 saw the firm launched a record-number of new and face-lifted Mercedes-AMG performance models in the local market. In fact, a quick check revealed that no less than 14 of which were introduced throughout last year by MBM.

This perhaps explains why the firm held a special and exclusive “Drive To Thrill” celebration event last weekend at the Hap Seng Star Balakong (HSS Balakong) Autohaus. Specifically invited here were local customers who purchased and registered new Mercedes-AMG models last year.

Present for this festive occassion was MBM's CEO and President Amanda Zhang. Also showcased during which were both the SL63 4Matic+ cabriolet and G63 super-SUV models launched by the firm last year.

Also showcased during this soiree were both the newly launched SL63 4Matic+ cabriolet and G63 super-SUV models. Present to hand out a slew of prizes to the invited owners was Amanda Zhang, CEO and President of MBM.

Besides exclusive merchandise plus slots for the next local Mercedes-AMG trackday event, Zhang was on hand to draw out winning customers through a lucky draw to win special trips and experience. The main highlight here was of course an all expenses paid trip to the AMG Experience On Ice programme.

Through a special lucky draw, Zhang had picked out eight lucky Mercedes-AMG customers who won an all expense paid trip to the AMG Experience on Ice programme.

Worth approximately RM50,000 per person, a total of eight winners were picked out for this grand prize, which also includes a visit to Mercedes-AMG’s headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany before culminating with an Artic Circle driving experience in Sweden.

The latter is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Swedish Lapland where participants get push their limits under the guidance of instructors across Lake Galtisjaure behind the wheel of high-performance Mercedes-AMG models on an ice sheet over 60 CM thick.

One winner was also drawn who won a trip to attend a Thailand Super Series 2025 race weekend in Bangsaen as a guest of the Malaysia-rooted Racing Aurora Mercedes-AMG customer racing team competing in said series.
