Batik Air Offers Fixed Airfares to Sabah & Sarawak for Hari Raya

Batik Air is offering fixed airfares for flights to Sabah and Sarawak during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festive period.
Local air carrier Batik Air is offering fixed airfares for flights to Sabah and Sarawak during this upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri festive period. Announced by transport minister (MoT) YB Anthony Loke yesterday, the fixed airfares are priced at only RM319 for Sarawak and RM379 for Sabah, offering a fair, transparent, and affordable travel option to passengers during the peak festive period.
“This effort reflects a deep understanding of what truly matters to passengers and is a commendable step towards making festive travel more accessible to all,” Loke said during the Batik Air iftar celebration in Subang yesterday.

During this festive Hari Raya period, Batik Air has also increased flight frequencies to other key destinations.
Loke also added that besides Sabah and Sarawak, Batik Air has also increased flight frequencies to other key domestic destinations in Peninsula Malaysia, such as Kota Bharu, Alor Setar, and Penang.
Combined with popular destinations in Sabah and Sarawak like Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Sibu, Sandakan, and Tawau, the minister said a total of 140 additional services have been added by the carrier for this festive season, amounting to over 22,000 additional seats from the usual services.
“These additional flights will provide greater flexibility and convenience, ensuring more Malaysians can return home for the Hari Raya celebrations,” the minister added.

The minister has also praised Batik Air for expanding its network and continued commitment to passenger experience, all of which have strengthened its role in becoming a major player in Malaysia’s aviation landscape.
“The airline’s growth is a testament to its dedication to providing greater travel options, and I look forward to seeing even more initiatives that put the needs of travellers first.
“We encouraged airlines to continue adopting fair and transparent pricing strategies that enhance connectivity within Malaysia and beyond," Loke concluded.
