Proton Announces Mass Recruitment Drive, Has 732 Jobs On Offer

Besides confirming an new all-electric e.MAS model for this year, Proton deputy CEO Roslan Abdullah also took the opportunity to detail the national automaker’s latest mass recruitment drive during its Berbuka Puasa session with local press last night.

During which, the automaker also premiered its latest Hari Raya Aidilfitri short film (embedded below). Directed by Pekin Ibrahim, this is the second festive short film Proton produced in partnership with local car air freshener brand Little Joe, and it stars popular local actors Que Haidar, Azwan Ali, and Fatimah Abu Bakar.




“This presents an exciting opportunity for individuals to build a rewarding career in this dynamic sector,” added Roslan further when detailing thew programme ahead of last night’s premiere screening.

The Proton Recruitment Drive 2025 starts next month in April and lasts until July this year, and it seek to recruit for up to 732 job vacancies presently available across Proton’s vast dealership network. Various job roles are available across several department and fields, ranging from sales, after-sales services, marketing, as well as general management jobs.

Up to 732 job vacancies are presently available in Proton's vast dealership network, ranging from regular management positions to sales, after-sales and marketing roles as well.


Besides filling critical roles within its organisation, the Proton Recruitment Drive 2025 also seeks to contribute to the development of skilled local workforce to enhance Malaysia’s economic competitiveness.

To boost this effort further, Proton has also partnered with key institutions such as the Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) and the Proton Institute, in collaboration with Advanced Technology Training Centre (ADTEC) - a government-led vocational college specialised in high-tech skills development.

These collaborations aim to connect with job seekers and equip them with the necessary skills to thrive in the automotive industry.
