Tan Chong Motor wins top honors in Nissan regional skills competition

Tan Chong Motor demonstrated its technical expertise and customer support capabilities by securing first place in the Nissan Service Technical Competency (NISTEC) and second place in the Nissan Service Advisor Competency (NISAC) competitions.
These ASEAN regional competitions, organized by Nissan for aftersales experts, evaluated participants' technical proficiency and customer service expertise.

Eligibility for the regional ASEAN Competition is predicated on the successful completion of National Skill Contests in their respective local markets. This year's competition featured 10 participants from Brunei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, with one NISTEC and NISAC member representing each region.
Toshihiro Fujiki, President of Nissan ASEAN and Thailand, said, “As we mark the fourth year of our ASEAN competition, we are proud to see it grow as a platform for developing top-tier technical and service expertise. At Nissan, we believe that investing in the skills and expertise of our people is key to delivering exceptional customer experiences

“This competition is not just about recognizing talent, it also fosters continuous improvement, ensuring our professionals stay ahead with up-to-date expertise and consistently deliver service and care that meet the highest industry standards.”
The company asserts that these achievements go beyond simple achievements; they also highlight the company's commitment to aftersales excellence by emphasizing training and development, which ensures that every Nissan technician and service advisor remains at the forefront of industry standards.
“This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to the dedication, expertise, and relentless pursuit of excellence by our aftersales professionals
“At Tan Chong Motor, we recognize that aftersales service is at the heart of customer satisfaction and we will continue to invest in the development of our workforce to ensure that every Nissan owners experience the best care possible.” says Christopher Tan, Executive Vice President of Tan Chong Group.

Additionally, the winning technician and service advisor will represent the region at the Global Award Ceremony in Japan in November 2025, where top technicians and service advisors from around the world will be honored.
