Bowers & Wilkins Unveils The Pi8 McLaren Edition; Pre-Order For RM2,999
Bowers & Wilkins today launches the Pi8 McLaren Edition, marking a decade-long collaboration with McLaren Automotive. These new wireless earphones, created in conjunction with McLaren Automotive and the McLaren Formula 1 Team, build on the Pi8's success by combining McLaren's iconic Papaya orange and Galvanic Grey into the design.
It's a true blend of that famous McLaren aesthetic and exceptional B&W sound. Basically, ideal for anyone who enjoys fast cars and killer audio.

Released in August of last year alongside the Pi6 model, the Pi8 TWS earbuds were priced at RM2,999. The standard Pi8 model costs RM2,399, making it RM600 cheaper than the McLaren edition.
This price difference primarily reflects the exclusive McLaren branding, including its logo, colors, and overall design, as the core features and sound performance remain identical.
Both models feature 12mm carbon cone drivers engineered for wide dynamic range and clarity, along with advanced active noise cancellation (ANC) technology developed in-house by B&W.

The charging case's wireless audio retransmission is a noteworthy feature. The case may be connected to gadgets that don't have Bluetooth, such outdated audio players, gym equipment and airline seatback screens, thanks to its dual USB-C and 3.5mm analogue connections.
Once connected, it uses aptX Adaptive to send awesome, almost perfect sound straight to the earbuds, up to 24-bit/96kHz. The earbuds last about 6.5 hours on their own, and the case adds another 13.5 hours. Plus, they're a bit tough with IP54 water and dust protection, handle high-res audio, and use the latest Bluetooth 5.4.
The Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 McLaren Edition earbuds are anticipated to arrive in Malaysia by the end of May. Pre-orders will commence on May 15 through TC Acoustic's website, the Sonos Concept Store in Starhill, Bowers & Wilkins' Lazada store, and select retailers including Flash Gadget, PC Image, and Thunder Match.
