MAS 2025: GWM Tank 500 HEV Price Announced – RM328,800

At last, GWM Malaysia took centre stage at Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025) yesterday to announce the price for the GWM Tank 500 HEV.
At long last, after months of teasing, Great Wall Motor Malaysia (GWM Malaysia) finally announced the price for the GWM Tank 500 HEV luxury 4x4 SUV during Press Day at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025).
So, straight into it then, and the price GWM Malaysia set for the GWM Tank 500 HEV reads at RM328,800. Said figure ought to make things like the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Everest sweat, not forgetting the scores of recond (grey import) Toyota Land Cruisers.

Besides the RM328,800 price tag, GWM Malaysia also revealed the comprehensive after-sales package included for said price.
Notably, includes several perks, namely a lifetime – yes, LIFETIME – warranty covering the powertrain, transmission, and HEV system. Next comes an 8-year, 200,000 KM separate hybrid battery warranty, and a 6-year, unlimited mileage base vehicle warranty.
In conjunction with the GWM Tannk 500 HEV’s official launch, a special 5-years free service and maintenance package (inclusive of labour and parts) is up for grabs as a limited-time offer. Lastly, the first 100 owners will also receive an exclusive gift box.

Prior to yesterday's launch GWM Malaysia has already showcased the Tank 500 HEV at selected dealerships nationwide and taking pre-orders.
As a refresher, GWM Malaysia first previewed the GWM Tank 500 HEV last year during KLIMS 2024. In recent weeks, the firm also began showcasing the 4x4 SUV at selected dealerships nationwide prior to today’s culminating price reveal at MAS 2025.
Slotted above the smaller but plush and rugged Tank 300 model, the Tank 500 HEV brings similar all-terrain thrills in a larger-sized and arguably more luxurious full-size 7-seat SUV package with an electrified series-parallel hybrid twist.

The petrol-electric hybrid powertrain puts out 346 PS and 648 NM, and it's paired with a switchable 4WD suite plus a 9-speed automatic box.
The latter is reflected by the adoption of a hybrid petrol-electric powertrain. It consists of a 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol base engine augmented by an e-motor and compact battery system, delivering a combined output 346 PS and 648 NM.
Paired with a switchable four-wheel-drive (4WD) and a 9-speed automatic transmission, the former also boasts up to 11 selectable diff-lock and terrain modes, as well as both an off-road cruise control and ‘Tank Turn’.

As detailed prior, the GWM Tank 500 HEV is fully loaded with a slew of luxurious, high-tech and plush amenities to justify its status as a 'luxury' offering.
As for kit and features, the GWM Tank 500 HEV is arguably a fully-loaded offering. Key highlights include all-LED lighting, electric side-steps, quilted Nappa leather upholstery, massive 12.3-inch digital instrumentation, as well as a14.6-inch infotainment.
As for creature comforts, highlights include power-adjustable front seats, first and second row seat ventilation, power-folding third-row seats, automatic triple-zone climate control, 360-degree parking camera, panoramic sunroof, and more.

See the GWM Tank 500 HEV at GWM Malaysia booth located in Hall A during MAS 2025.
As for safety, the GWM Tank 500 HEV is also brimmed with a slew of advanced driving assistance system (ADAS) features. Included here too is a “wisdom dodge” system, whilst basics includes six airbags and stability control.
As mentioned, you can size-up the GWM Tank 500 HEV in person at GWM Malaysia’s booth located in Hall A during MAS 2025.
