New Chery SUV Teaser In Bukit Bintang Until June 3

Chery Malaysia has set up a special pop-up featuring an oversized 'Mystery Box' on the Jalan Bukit Bintang walkway, specifically in front of the Starhill Gallery entrance.

If you happen to be in the Jalan Bukit Bintang area between May 29 and June 3, you will see a rather peculiar but exciting sight located on the walkway right in front of the entrance of Starhill Gallery shopping haven.

More specifically, you’ll find that the folks from automakers Chery (Chery Malaysia) have set up a novel oversized ‘Mystery Box’ containing a teaser of the Chinese automaker’s upcoming new SUV model that’s set for launch soon.

Chery Malaysia is teasing an upcoming new SUV model through this pop-up installation, which run from May 29 to June 3.

With this installation, Chery is inviting passersby to come and take a sneak peek of what’s to come from them soon. There are special windows primed on this special box that will let visitors to view the new SUV model inside.

Additionally, Chery is also inviting passersby to take part and guess the model inside said box. Those who can identify the Chery vehicle model correctly will walk away with special gifts too, adds the automaker.

Chery Malaysia welcomes passersby to take a sneak peak of the new model through the special windows primed in this 'Mystery Box'.

“We want to invite Malaysians from all walks of life to be part of the excitement and anticipation,” remarked Michael Chew, Vice President of Chery Malaysia, about this novel teaser effort taking place in KL’s bustling shopping district.

Regarding the model being teased, the exec says, “What’s inside the box is something exciting, something new, and something that signals Chery’s growing presence among the young and dynamic.”

Visitors who take part and guess the new Chery model correctly will score exclusive gifts.

The firm elected to remain coy in its announcement, but there are obvious clues to what’s being teased here, namely the #crosswonderfullife hashtag.

In fact, avid fans who attended the recent Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025) will remember seeing this teaser unit, which still wears the same striking ‘livery’ in this teaser as it did at the show.
