JPJ May Revoke Licenses Of Law-Breaking Mat Rempit
Motorcyclists who misuse their MyLesen B2 licenses for reckless stunts may soon face stricter consequences, including revocation of their permits.
The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has warned that those caught performing illegal or dangerous acts on the road will not be spared.
Its Director-General Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli emphasised that the MyLesen B2 initiative was introduced to support the B40 group in obtaining legal motorcycle licences, not to enable traffic violations.
“Public funds have been channelled into this programme to uplift communities — not to fuel lawlessness. Compliance with traffic laws is non-negotiable,” he said.
Aedy confirmed that JPJ has a dedicated system to monitor successful MyLesen B2 applicants and warned that young riders who break traffic laws risk serious consequences, including legal action, for violating the programme's conditions.
“We are looking into this matter and we will not tolerate anyone who commits traffic offences, especially those who are speeding,” he added.
