2025 Proton e.MAS 7 Updated – New Colours, New OTA Update, And More
PRO-NET revealed a lightly upgraded 2025 model year version of the Proton e.MAS 7 earlier today.

Earlier today, Proton New Energy Technology (PRO-NET), the electric vehicle (EV) arm of national carmaker Proton, revealed an updated 2025 model year version of the Proton e.MAS 7 EV crossover SUV.
Revealed this afternoon at the Proton e.MAS IOI City Mall outlet operated by dealers Jewel Sonic Sdn Bhd, this latest 2025MY update sees the e.MAS 7 gain minor changes and a few additions driven directly by user feedback.
Additionally, there’s also a new sales policy that promises a more rewarding EV ownership experience too.
Leading the visual changes is newly added Obsidian Black exterior paintjob option...
... followed by a new Alabaster White cabin colour motif offered exclusively with the Premium variant's existing Quartz Rose and Turquoise Green exterior hues.

Starting with visual changes, the 2025MY Proton e.MAS 7 has gained a new Obsidian Black exterior paint option. Notably, this is now a permanent new addition to the model's existing paint scheme catalogue.
Next, the e.MAS 7 also gains a new Alabaster White interior motif paired exclusively with the existing Quartz Rose and Turquoise Green exterior hues for the Premium variant. However, this exclusive interior scheme is limited to just 250 units with each exterior hue.

Take note too that the white interior motif detailed is limited to just 250 units with each exterior colour pairing noted.

Special colour motif aside, the Flyme Auto operating system powering the infotainment aboard the e.MAS 7 has been made smarter and safer with enhanced connectivity thanks to a new over-the-air (OTA) software update.
Critically, said OTA software patch brings wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity to the e.MAS 7 now. Android Auto continues to be absent, but PRO-NET reassures that this is in the pipelines still and will arrive by year-end.
Smartphone connectivity aside, the updated infotainment also gains new third-party apps. Amongst them are Zoom for Cars, izi.TRAVEL and Vivaldi Browser, and their arrival promises to enhance the overall in-car experience of the e.MAS 7 further.

Notably, the OTA update pack noted also brings two new sound options for the EV’s low-speed pedestrian warning system. These come on top of the existing ‘Classical’ tone primed – affectionately referred to by some owners and users as the ‘ice cream truck’ jingle.
Drivers and users can now switch from that to the newly added Galactic Note or Space Walk sounds. Critically, there’s also the option to switch this feature off now added, though not permanently.
Revealed too was a new "Power Pack+" sales package that brings enhanced value for customers purchasing a brand new Proton e.MAS 7.

Lastly, PRO-NET also revealed a new “Power Pack+” sales package that brings enhanced value to customers purchasing the e.MAS 7 .
Included here is a trade-in rebate worth up to RM5,000, complimentary 7 kW home charger worth RM1,500, complimentary V2L adaptor worth RM500, 5-year unlimited internet data worth RM1,800, as well as both a 6-year unlimited mileage base vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 160,000 KM EV battery warranty.
Lastly, what continues unchanged are the e.MAS 7’s starting price tags of RM105,800 (Prime) and RM119,800 (Premium) with the extended ‘Welcome Benefit’ offer worth RM4,000 factored in – regular RRPs stand at RM109,800 and RM123,800 respectively without it.
