AOS 2025 Concluded as Malaysia’s Biggest ‘Kustom Kulture’ Event

The 14th edition of Art of Speed concluded on a high note, drawing thousands of fans and enthusiasts from around the world.
The 14th edition of the Art of Speed (AOS 2025) festival, held at MAEPS Serdang throughout the weekend, concluded with great success. The 2025 edition saw Art of Speed solidifying its position as Malaysia’s biggest ‘Kustom Kulture’ event, drawing thousands of crowds from Malaysia and around the world.

With the theme of “Kustom Ada Gaya,” this year’s Art of Speed saw several distinguished international guests attend the show, including the Mooneyes Japan trio of Shige Suganuma, Hiro “Wildman” Ishii, and Hey Murakamii, Hot Wheels Product Designer Brendon Vetuskey, Darren McKeag from McKeag Art USA, Mark Hawwa from The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, and many more.

And just like the previous edition, this year’s AOS was also held in conjunction with the official Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia (HWCCM), where the third edition saw lots of activities for both fans and die-hard collectors. What’s special this year is the launch of the first left- and right-facing pair of convention cars in Southeast Asia, together with the aforementioned special guest, Hot Wheels Product Designer Brendon Vetuskey.

Other activities held at AOS 2025 include the Beetle Battle programme organised by Denny Kusumah from the Volkswagen Beetle Club Indonesia, the Santai Scooterist scooter owner mega gathering, multiple car club gatherings, Roda Rumble 2025 two-wheel gathering supported by Retro Mania, automotive flea market, Moto4sale motorcycle buying and selling platform, and the Test Ride Zone for new bikes, to name a few.

Hitting the main stage for the Art of Speed’s SoundCircus Takeover were a mix of genres and talents, including local R&B legend Ruffedge, Noh Salleh & Restoe Iboe, Romantic Echoes, Iqbal M, Luqman Podolski, Budak Nakal Hujung Simpang, Fugo, and many more.

Last but not least, the Art of Speed’s Best of Show automobile and motorcycle showcase saw a plethora of participants this year, with winners of both the car and motorcycle categories set to attend the 33rd Annual MOONEYES Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2025 in Japan as guests of honour.
The winner for the Best of Show Automobile category this year was Shaun Pinto with a classic 1965 Volkswagen Beetle, while taking the crown for the motorcycle category was Omar Jumiran from Eastern Bobber with his customised 1983 Honda CB175.
