Art of Speed Malaysia 2025 – July 26–27, MAEPS Serdang
The Art of Speed customs & counterculture festival returns in 2025, taking place at MAEPS Serdang from July 26–27.
Malaysia’s biggest annual customs and counterculture festival, Art of Speed (AOS), returns this year with a new theme of “Kustom Ada Gaya.” Just like its previous iterations, this customs festival will take place at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS), from July 26 to 27, happening from 10 AM to 7 PM.
Just like the previous year, AOS 2025 will feature several delegates from around the world. This includes Shige Suganuma, Hiro “Wildman” Ishii & Hey Murakamii from Mooneyes Japan, Hot Wheels Product Designer Brendon Vetuskey, Darren McKeag from McKeag Art USA, Mark Hawwa from The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, Australia, Yuichi Yoshizawa from Custom Works Zon, Japan, and many more.
Special for this year’s edition are several new events and showcases, including the World of Wheels (WOW) exhibition presented by MotorTakaful.com as a Show and Shine special highlight, an outdoor car photo studio, several car club parades including Porsche Club Malaysia and Alfa Romeo Owner’s Club Malaysia, the Beetle Battle programme by the Volkswagen Beetle Club Indonesia, and many more.
Not to forget, AOS 2025 is introducing a new Visitor Passport programme known as Kembara Passport, where visitors to the festival can partake in the Wheel of Speed lucky wheel spin. To qualify, visitors must collect all six stamps at all participating booths, and they will stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including trips to events overseas like Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and many more.
Other events and programmes taking place at AOS 2025 include the Outdoor ThunderCircus “Brotherhood Rally” ride, the Project Car Invitational Showcase in partnership with NoEqual.co, the Kulture Kartel festival featuring vintage, thrift, fashion, and streetwear at Hall D, the Santai Scooterist gathering, the Roda Rumble 2025 two-wheel gathering, the Moto4Sale motorbike market, and many more.
This year’s AOS will also host the third official Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia (HWCCM), which will take place at Hall C of MAEPS. Besides the limited-edition convention cars, visitors will be able to experience various activities, including the Hot Wheels Activation Zone, the Hot Wheels Rare and Collectibles Exhibition, the Hot Wheels Swap Buy and Sell, collector sharing sessions, the Hot Wheels Custom Competition, and many more.
Art of Speed Malaysia Festival Director Asep Ahmad Iskandar
“We are thrilled to continue hosting the Official Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia for the third consecutive year at Art of Speed 2025. We have been collaborating with Hot Wheels since the early days of Art of Speed, and the brand holds a special place in the hearts of our local collectors and enthusiasts.” said Asep Ahmad Iskandar, Festival Director, Art of Speed Malaysia.
Speaking of Hot Wheels, AOS 2025 will also feature a special Art of Speed x Hot Wheels merchandise collection, which is one of the five new merch collaborations added this year. Other new collaborations are with local shoe brand Fung Keong for limited-edition Art of Speed x FK sneakers, local streetwear brand High Culture, local sock brand Xocks, and Mooneyes.
Tickets for Art of Speed Malaysia 2025 can now be purchased via AOS’ official website, with special online early bird prices starting from RM35 for the Weekend Pass and RM40 for the Sunday Pass. Children below 12 years old and disabled (OKU) cardholders can enter for free.
