Rimac Nevera R Shatters 0-400-0 KM/H Record, Sets 24 New Records In Total
Croatian ultra-performance electric vehicle marque Rimac revealed it recently concluded a record-setting run with its acclaimed Rimac Nevera R – the firm’s manic, quad-motored 1,989 HP electric hypercar flagship.
The last record-setting run Rimac performed some two years ago saw it set a total of 23 new performance records in a single day. Their most recent effort however ups the ante and sees a total of 24 new performance records either set or smashed instead.
The headlining feat here is of course the new 0-400-0 KM/H record. Whilst the original Nevera model initially set and held this record at 29.93 secs in 2019, Swedish rivals Koenigsegg beat it in 2024 with the V8-engined Jesko Absolut that logged in 27.83 secs.

In a recent record-setting run, the Rimac Nevera R reclaimed the 0-400-0 KM/H record for the firm after smashing the old record at 25.79 secs.

Rimac’s recent record run outing has however restored glory back to the Croatian firm as its updated and beefed up Nevera R flagship mentioned reset the bar higher – and quicker – at 25.79 secs instead.
For reference, that’s not only 2.04 secs quicker than the Jesko mentioned that held to record prior, it’s also some 4.14 secs quicker than the early Nevera model that first set this record back in 2019 too. Of course, there’s more to things here too.
The same run sees the Rimac Nevera R set a blistering new record 0-100 KM/H sprint time of 1.72 secs. It also set an improved 0-200 KM/H sprint time of 3.95 secs, and 0-300 KM/H sprint time of 7.89 secs, whereas the 0-400 KM/H run itself took 17.35 secs.

The new 0-400-0 KM/H record was just one of 24 new records in total either set or smashed by the Rimac Nevera R in single day.

Revealed last year, the Nevera R is a beefed up and uprated iteration of the Nevera EV hypercar, boasting a quad-motor setup that puts out a whopping 1,989 HP.
