GWM Opens New Klang Showroom, Announces New Merdeka Campaign Too

GWM Malaysia expanded its presence with the opening of a new showroom in Klang, Selangor. Located at PT 4209, Jalan Kapar, Kawasan 18, the 3,900 square feet facility includes a 1,140 square feet customer lounge and three fully equipped service bays.
The outlet is capable of servicing up to 200 vehicles each month and is open daily from 9AM to 6PM for sales, and from 8AM to 5:30PM for service.
Alongside this expansion, GWM Malaysia also announced a new Merdeka Campaign 2025, themed “Gaya Wawasan Malaysia.” Running from Aug 16 to Sept 28, it features showroom activations, special promotions and a series of roadshows across the country.

As part of the campaign, GWM showrooms nationwide will host Merdeka “Book & Win” weekends, where customers who book a vehicle will have the chance to participate in lucky draws. Prizes for the contest are valued at up to RM120,000, with items such as smartphones, headphones and home appliances being offered.

Special promotions will also run throughout Aug, offering limited-time deals across the GWM model line-up. At the same time, the “GWM Goes on Tour” series will continue with roadshows in major malls, including Mid Valley Kuala Lumpur from Sept 10 to 14, 1 Utama from Oct 7 to Nov 6, Sunway Carnival Mall in Penang from Oct 30 to Nov 2 and Ipoh Parade from Nov 6 to 9.

GWM Malaysia COO Roslan Abdullah says the Merdeka campaign was designed to reflect the spirit of independence while connecting communities. “Merdeka is a time for us to reflect on how far we have come as a nation, and to look ahead with confidence and vision,” he said.
The campaign adds to a busy second half of the year for GWM Malaysia, bringing together a mix of new facilities, retail promotions and nationwide engagements.
