Mercedes-Benz Rolls Out P.UP Mobile Charging Plan

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has rolled out a new charging subscription programme for EQ customers called the MB Platinum 5 plan. This was created in partnership with P.UP by Nazamax Malaysia.
The plan gives owners five mobile charging sessions a month, each paired with grooming services such as a hand wash, vacuum and tyre shine. Every session tops up the car to 80% state-of-charge (SoC), with service fees and parking already covered. Subscriptions are available in one, six or twelve-month tenures.
Unlike the plan offered to BYD Atto 2 buyers, which sees P.UP’s standard Platinum 4 package bundled, the MB Platinum 5 is a bespoke plan created just for Mercedes-Benz EQ EV owners.

At its core, the service addresses one of the biggest pain points for EV drivers: access to chargers. P.UP’s mobile DC fast chargers, capable of delivering up to 120 kWh, bring power directly to the car, whether it’s at home, at the office or elsewhere. Owners don’t even need to be present, making the process quick and hassle-free.
P.UP, first launched in Penang in Sept 2024 with two vans equipped with 50 kWh chargers, has since expanded to the Klang Valley with three vans and will reach Johor Bahru in early 2026, before covering the rest of Peninsular Malaysia later that year.
For those not ready to commit to a subscription, P.UP also offers ad-hoc charging at RM1.70 per kWh plus a RM40 service fee, with optional add-ons like washing, vacuuming and tyre shine.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia says the MB Platinum 5 is about more than just convenience. “As we progress towards advancing electric mobility in Malaysia, we are committed to enhancing the overall ownership experience for our EV customers,” said Edmin Naidoo, VP of Customer Services, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia & SEA II.
For P.UP, the tie-up is proof that mobile charging can be scaled to meet the needs of EV drivers. CEO SM Fauzi Dato Hj SM Shalahuddin said response from EQ owners has been strong, and the company plans to expand its reach nationwide.
As Malaysia ramps up EV adoption, mobile charging services like P.UP’s could help close the gaps in charging infrastructure. For EQ customers, the MB Platinum 5 plan delivers exactly what they expect from the brand, reliability, convenience and a touch of luxury, right at their doorstep.
