Half-Price Traffic Summons As Gov’t Pushes MyDigital ID
Malaysians with outstanding traffic summonses can look forward to some relief as the government rolls out the National Traffic Summons Discount Campaign, offering a 50% reduction from August 31 to September 16.
The initiative, a collaboration between the Home Ministry, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), and MyDigital ID, is part of the 68th National Day and 62nd Malaysia Day celebrations.
“This campaign was designed to celebrate national milestones while giving something back to the people,” said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
At the same time, it promotes the adoption of MyDigital ID, which will serve as the backbone of Malaysia’s digital public services.

“This summons reduction is a symbol of the government’s appreciation to the people and part of efforts to encourage the adoption of MyDigital ID as the foundation for digital transformation of public services,” he added.
To enjoy the discount, payments must be made exclusively via the MyBayar PDRM app with a MyDigital ID login, making the campaign strictly available to Malaysians.
