Launched: 2025 Xpeng G6 Facelift – 3 Variants, Up To 525 KM Range, From RM178,888
Bermaz Xpeng Sdn Bhd (BAuto) officially launched the face-lifted 2025 Xpeng G6 EV SUV range earlier today.

Bermaz Xpeng Sdh Bhd officially launched the revised and face-lifted 2025 Xpeng G6 EV SUV range earlier today. As detailed prior, the streamlined range sees three variants now available – base Long Range Pro, AWD Performance and AWD Black Edition.
The firm, which is a subsidiary of the larger Bermaz Auto Berhad (BAuto) umbrella, had already opened registration of interest (ROI) and early pre-bookings late last month. We’ll dive straight into prices first and, unsurprisingly, they’re tempting:
VARIANT | PRICE |
| 2025 Xpeng G6 RWD Long Range Pro | RM178,888 |
| 2025 Xpeng G6 AWD Performance | RM189,888 |
| 2025 Xpeng G6 AWD Black Edition | RM193,888 |
All prices firstly includes a 5-year or 120,000 KM base vehicle warranty, followed secondly with Bermaz’s typical 5-year or 100,000 KM free service and maintenance package. Separately, an 8-year or 160,000 KM high-voltage EV battery warranty is also included in said prices.

Visual changes seen in the exterior includes a new full-width LED DRL up front, new dual five-spoke 20-inch wheels, as well as a revised tailgate with a 'Ducktail' element now incorporated.

Moving on to changes and, as detailed prior, there are a raft of which inside and out. The most obvious visual change in the exterior is the adoption of a new full-width LED DRL up front plus new dual five-spoke 20-inch rolling stock. Revised lightly too is this coupe-shaped EV SUV’s derriere, which now rocks a ‘Ducktail’ tailgate.
Also revised too are the exterior colourway options and it sees one striking omission – the bright tangerine (orange) scheme offered prior has been dropped. Instead, buyers now have Stellar Purple, Midnight Black, Graphite Gray, Silver Frost and Artic White choices. As for cabin colourway, there’s now Dark Gray and Light Gray options on offer.

New to the 2025MY Xpeng G6 range too is a Black Edition special range-topper. It is dressed exclusively in Midnight Black paint and treated with variant-specific blacked-out exterior trims and touches.

A new addition here is of course the Black Edition guise. As its name aptly suggest, this AWD Performance-based and new range-topping trimline gains a host of exclusive blacked-out aesthetic touches. Another notable trait is the fact this trimline is offered solely dressed in Midnight Black exterior paint.

On board, the refreshed 2025MY model also sports a raft of minor changes and upgrades all around that enhances comfort and convenience.

Moving inside and the refreshed 2025 Xpeng G6 sees its cabin gets what the Chinese EV maker calls its 'Super Star-Ring Interior Design'. Key upgrades here include newly added massage functions for the front seats on top of ventilation and power-adjustment, and the enlarged 15.6-inch central floating infotainment touchscreen.
Other tweaks include upgraded trim and upholstery materials primed. Otherwise, key novelties like a panoramic sunroof, as well as a 10-25-inch digital instrument panel remains, as does the class-leading space and comfort stemming from the rear seats that offer 12-level reclining abilities.
Other key conveniences brimmed across the board include both NFC card key and smartphone Bluetooth key functions, Mobile App Remote with Automatic Mobile Phone Unlocking function, voice assistant and voice control, smart navigation, both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
Underneath, there's now an upgraded 80.5 kWh LFP battery pack that accepts ultra-fast DC charging speeds of up to 451 kW and yields up to 525 KM of max WLTP range.

Moving to the EV driveline and there’s an upgraded 80.5 kWh LFP battery pack brimmed in all variants now – this replaces the previous 87.5 kWh lithium-ion pack. This is encased within an 800-volt architecture that enables both 11 kW regular AC charging and ultra-fast DC charging speeds of up to 451 kW and bring 10-80% re-charge cycles in just 12 minutes.
Said pack juices a single rear e-motor in the RWD Long Range guise, which outputs 292 hp (218 kW) and 450 Nm of twist. Besides a claimed 0-100 KM/H sprint time of 6.7 secs, this variant also has the longest claimed WLTP max range of 525 KM.

The dual-motor AWD Performance delivers a rapid century sprint time of 4.13 secs, though it makes do with slightly lower WLTP range of just 510 KM as a trade-off for said performance.

Moving to the AWD performance, this one instead packs a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup that churns out a peppier 487 hp (358 kW) and 660 Nm combined. In turn, this also yields a quicker century sprint time of 4.13 secs and a slightly lower 510 KM claimed WLTP max range.
As for safety, all variants come equipped with a full suite of Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) features from the brand’s Xpilot Assist Driving, Parking and Safety suites. Altogether, these bring up to 27 ADAS features that enables Level 2 semi-autonomous driving abilities to boot.
